WikiLocation carries labelled sponsored placements. Three formats, one price each, and a short list of what is refused. There is no "write for us" page and no unlabelled link on this site.
What the site is
An independent directory of 461 archived location guides in 39 countries, plus a beach section of 32 entries in 14 regions built from official sources. The site was rebuilt in September 2026 as a static site; its history as a geolocation API (2010 to 2014) is the reason developer sites still link here.

No placement is sold below $50.
What every placement gets
- A disclosure at the top and bottom of a sponsored article, naming the sponsor.
- Outbound links with
rel="sponsored"by default;nofollowon request per link. - The article indexed and kept online for at least twelve months, at a stable address.
- A country listing shown with a "listing" label on the country page, for one year.
What is refused
Adult businesses and adult-adjacent services, gambling, pharmaceuticals, financial trading, and anything that would need to sit on a beach page's legal-status line, source ledger or the legality, etiquette and first-visit guides. Those pages carry no paid links at any price. Sponsor text is checked against the editorial policy; claims are not edited, but a piece that contradicts an official source on this site is declined.
How to order
Send the format, the target page or country, the draft (or a brief), and the links with their intended attributes. Payment in advance; publication within five working days of approval. The contact address is the one in the site's domain registration record.
