All nine official beaches are south of the Tagus. The federation's page carries the municipal assembly date for each; the council pages add what a visitor needs: lifeguards, concessions, access.

   Legal status: Turismo de Portugal: "one of the first to establish a duly signposted and authorised area for naturism", from Tramagueira beach to Rio da Prata beach; the FPN dates the Sesimbra municipal assembly decision to 28 July 1995.

2. Praia Naturista da Bela Vista (Praia 19)

   Legal status: Câmara Municipal de Almada lists it as Praia Naturista da Bela Vista, monitored and concessioned in its northern zone; its southern zone is "essentially for the nudist public" and a meeting point for the LGBT community. FPN date: Almada municipal assembly, 21 February 1995.

   Where	A second cove south of Praia de Odeceixe, on the Vicentine Coast; only reachable along the sand at low tide, otherwise by the footpath down the cliff.

What is not on this page
